A few months ago while waiting for a friend who was running late I had a thought about how great it would be if that person could share their location and real-time progress with me instead of sending an endless amount of text updates. Glympse does just that.
It’s an Android/iOS/Windows Mobile phone app that will send your current location to anyone via email or SMS. The receiver can view your progress on their web site or within any of the apps. You can also limit the amount of time that the tracking is enabled so you can be assured no one is watching you longer than you want them to.
